Even though kids are headed back to school, summer weather is not over yet. You still have time to grill lots of tasty recipes…and, of course, football season is great for grilling! Here are some delicious options:
Garlic Balsamic Pork Chops –I am so thankful to have discovered this delicious recipe from OAMM! We have made it countless times, just for us, and when we have had guests. It always gets lots of compliments, it is just so flavorful! You could make this as pork kabobs or just marinate boneless pork chops for grilling.
Tequila Lime Chicken –I love, love, love the lime flavors in this chicken! Kids like it, too! Serve with cilantro lime rice and black beans or a great green salad!
Italian Chicken –Easiest marinade EVER. No recipe needed, just grab a bottle of your favorite Italian dressing. I like Kraft’s Viva Italian. Marinate chicken in the dressing all day and then grill. This chicken is delicious in salads, but is also fine as the main dish to a meal. Grill extra on the weekend to last you all week!
Buttermilk Herb Chicken –The flavors of this dish are a little different because of the various herbs, but they work and my kids gobble it up!
Garlic Lemon Chicken Kabobs –Lemon and garlic are a great combo. And cutting the chicken into cubes for kabobs means more marinade on more surfaces!
Hamburgers –My husband grills the best burgers…check out the seasonings he uses.
*And though not a freezer recipe, I just have to mention THIS RIB EYE RUB. It is absolutely amazing and now my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The brown sugar cooks a little bit of a crust on the outside and each bite ends with a little kick from the red pepper! It is such a special treat.*
–And don’t forget to add some veggies to the grill to complete your meal. We like to grill asparagus and zucchini. Drizzle with olive oil and sea salt and grill. Easy and delicious!
